The Erasmus+ programme

The Erasmus+ is an established European programme fostering the mobility of students, teaching and administrative staff in partner academic institutions and host agencies located abroad. The programme constitutes one of the most prominent pillars in the context of extroversion and internationalization of our university with the objective to advance research and academic synergies.

Student mobility

The Erasmus+ provides opportunities to incoming / outgoing students of all study cycles (undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD level) to undertake a study period abroad in one of the partner universities. Selected applicants receive an Erasmus+ scholarship, whereas the home institution ensures full academic recognition of learning outcomes in terms of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). Moreover, students of the Department of Sociology can apply for an Erasmus+ traineeship period in receiving organizations abroad. In particular, students of all study cycles may be awarded an Erasmus+ traineeship mobility grant in addition to first year graduates provided they apply while they are still registered students.

Teaching and administrative staff mobility

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, teaching and training mobility opportunities are available for incoming and outgoing faculty members. The administrative staff of the Department may also spend a training period abroad.
